Week 13 NFL Picks – Part II

Filed under: NFL, NFL Predictions — Caveman @ 4:08 am

A 3-0 Thanksgiving has me dreaming of a perfect 16-0 (another of my football “bucket list” items). Here goes:

Denver +7.5 over NY Jets – The Jets are coming off road wins in New England and Tennessee, you think they might have a bit of a letdown? The Broncos keep this close and possibly win outright.

Buffalo -6.5 over San Francisco – West coast teams are like 0 for 1500 when playing on the East Coast this year. I am not banking on the 49ers to buck that trend

Tampa Bay -4.0 over New Orleans – The spread for the NFC South intra-division games is always under a touchdown, but it seems like the home team always dominates. I like that trend to continue.

Green Bay -3.0 over Carolina – Is Carolina good? I am thanking the good Lord that I no longer am in fantasy bondage to Jake Delhomme.

NY Giants -3.5 over Washington – After, waiting for the Giants to fall off the map, I am finally on the bandwagon.

Miami -8.0 over St. Louis – For some reason this game is “off-the-board”. Why? Is it because Marc Bulger is questionable? No, it’s probably because the odds-makers cannot make the line high enough to compensate for the pathetic Rams.

Cincinnati +7.0 over Baltimore – The Bengals are surprisingly scrappy.

Indianapolis -4.5 over Cleveland – Be forewarned America – we are headed toward a Manning v Manning Super Bowl.

Atlanta +5.0 over San Diego – Why is San Diego giving points to anyone, let alone a solid team like Atlanta?

New England -1.0 over Pittsburgh – The 2008 Pats are starting to look like the 2007 Pats.

Oakland -3.0 over Kansas City – So the Raiders dominate the Chiefs in Kansas City and then are only a three point favorite at home.

Minnesota -3.5 over Chicago – Hey Kyle were not in St. Louis any more.

Houston -3.0 over Jacksonville – Is there a team deader than the Jags right now?

Last Week: 8-8

Season: 86-87-1

Best Bets: 7-4-1
