Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday for a couple of reasons – 1. I love the Turkey dinner complete with stuffing and mashed potatoes. I mean think about it, name another time during the year that you have turkey dinner. And you have the leftovers that last the weekend. 2. Thanksgiving is the beginning of the Christmas season, which is by far the best time of the year.
Speaking of favorites, I am going chalk on the Turkey day games:
Tennessee -11.5 over Detroit – The Jets deprived us of the 11-0 verse 0-11 matchup. I thought about playing the “Lions will be up on Thanksgiving” angle, but after re-watching their game against the Bucs and seeing them blow a 17-0 lead I decided on the safe play with the Titans.
Dallas -13.5 over Seattle – The Cowboys are a dangerous team the rest of the way. They might be the only team that can go into New York and beat the Giants. Seattle on the other hand is a mess and will have a problem keeping this game close.
Philadelphia -3.0 over Arizona – The Eagles should not be favored in this game, but once again the odds-makers are trying to put one over on the betting public. The thing is the Eagles will blitz Kurt Warner, just like the Giants did, and Warner will have happy feet, just like he did against the Giants and the Eagles will win this game, probably fairly easily.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
